He didn't witness his mother's murder, he didn't become an instant sociopath, he didn't like his new family. He eventually got the attention of CPS, went through foster families (which sucked, by the way), but eventually found a nice couple willing to finish raising him. He's a reasonably well-adjusted investment banker who, thanks to Chandra Suresh's introduction of Crazy Power Things into his life, now can fly and teleport. Of course he can't do either in jail, but. >_> ]

I'm in some sort of cell. I wasn't expecting to come back here, to be honest. Not that I was expecting to come back at all. I thought this place was a really long, weird dream. Why does it always hit at the worst times?

I did miss seeing people, though. How's Deb doing? How are you? I guess I should hope for less people to be here, rather than more...

There was a virus, back in my home- universe, I guess you'd call it. Some nutcase was trying to release it, cause a pandemic. We were trying to stop him- I guess I won't know if we did until I go back.

Well, the whole superpower thing is really just kind of confusing, to be honest. But the virus is in this secret organization that's- er, really heavily guarded. We were breaking in to destroy it- Adam followed us, I guess, and made a grab for it....I don't know what happened after that. I think I blacked out.
