That's...yes. In my world, the brain is where all of it is, the abilities, the soul of a person, if you will. Everything that defines them is right there.

But that's another story.

Indeed, the soul is more than the brain matter where I am from. The soul can have physical form. The soul can be taken and used to sustain one's life, used for power.

That is the essence of the vampire, where I am from.

But just because things are.... somewhat different, doesn't mean you can't still evolve.
