I'd strongly advise people not to look into their mirrors today. Cover them up- break them, even. I imagine it'll be worth it.

It's really too bad. I know some people were still reeling from this weekend's curse, and this is sure to cause havoc- which, of course, seems to be what the deities want. Hope most manage to get by without too much damage done today.

If there's anyone from the police available and listening to me on the Network right now, could you spare a moment?

Hi, there. My name's Gabriel Sylar, and I have a rather odd situation right now. I assaulted three people approximately three weeks ago, the night that I died. I was more than willing to turn myself in, but none of them seem to want to press charges. I'm not entirely sure how the police is operating right now, considering the lack of a written law for this City. Still, if I should be in jail right now, I thought I'd offer to 'give myself up'.

That being said, if the force needs help and could use someone with my talents, I'd be happy to offer my assistance, as well. Sort of a 'community service' thing.

Right. I'm DS Ray Carling. First off, when we say 'assault', just 'ow severe are we talkin'? I'm guessin' you didn't jus' throw a few punches, if you're wantin' to turn yourself in.

Second, what makes you think your 'talents' would be of any use to us whatsoever?

Nice to meet you, although I'm sure it'd be nicer under better circumstances.

Let's see- two probably managed to get out with minor scrapes and cuts, maybe some bruising. However, the third I broke several bones on- her feet, her ribs in a few places, and her pinkies.

As far as how useful I am...I'm telekinetic, I can shapeshift, I can read memories off of objects and detect lies, among other things. And I'd be fairly useful undercover as well, considering I'm still 'friends' with some of the less savory types around town.

I'm sure it would be.

Bloody 'ell. An' she won't press charges?

For the first lot, you're gonna 'ave to back that up. New snouts, 'owever, are exactly what I think this force needs. I'll 'ave a word. Get back to you on that.

Apparently not, which surprised me as well. I know she's used to fighting, but that wasn't exactly fighting.

I'll be happy to back it up. I imagine you folks would want documentation of my abilities, regardless.

Thanks for your time, Detective.

No. Pretty sure that'd be called gettin' ten types of shit kicked outta you.

You jus' be ready to back it up, then.

S'fine. Jus' doin' my job.

This is one of those curses that's not fun for much of anyone.

Can't say I've enjoyed it, no. But I shattered my mirrors before anything got a chance to crawl out of them, which is better than some people are faring.

In the mirrors? No. Just yourself.

Although considering all the people we have here, I'm sure an argument could be made for all three.

I told them what happened and offered to turn myself in, which I figure is what you thought I was doing. I guess they need to check on what to do when charges aren't pressed, but he said he'd get back to me.

I don't know if it will help anything, but it couldn't hurt, right?

You could take a look. I doubt you'd hurt anyone but yourself.

I don't think it would've been any better back home, honestly. I didn't want to change there, not really.

At least here, there are people to catch me if I go off the rails.

Did you see something in the mirrors?

You might find it difficult to contact the police and get much done, there seems to be a problem with not having anyone actually in charge.

It seems as though they're slowly putting things together. Which is difficult considering they have no true "leader." I hope you get some help.

I think they're all versions of the people looking at them.

It seems like I'm in luck. They're pretty organized for something with no true leader.

That explains somethings. I'm sorry it was rude of me to just start asking questions without even giving you some sort of introduction.

That's good. I'd have to agree, I doubt the I.S. would have been able to get anything done without a leader.
