In case you've been sleeping the entire class, your final projects are due tomorrow. I'll be around until very late tonight at the workshop to help any student who needs it- and I do mean help. I'm not building your projects for you. Remember that the project needs to follow the guidelines of your proposal- I will be grading based on accuracy and tasks accomplished.

For the teams that have been building trebuchets, we'll be launching them during the lunch hour tomorrow. Make sure they're ready to go by then.

Oh- there will also be a 'Safety Quiz' tomorrow, as I'm required to hand that out. Pass it or die. We'll look over everyone's projects, and then we can watch a movie with the rest of of our hour. Any suggestions for the movie? Not that I'll listen.

Yes, and I also have a coffee maker plugged in and ready to go right in my classroom. You can't hurt the keeper of the free coffee. There would be riots in the streets.

Think of the coffee! Think of the coffee. And beyond that, I have plans for tonight, which dying would really make less than doable. I promise not to suggest any more Disney movies.

Don't despair, I'm sure I'll get roped into it soon enough. I don't understand why it needs to be a City-wide event. There's enough kids just in the senior class here.

God only knows. My one hope is that my friend Wesley can't find an excuse so at least someone there will be more miserable than me. And that way, I have someone I can force to dance with me so I'm not stuck in a corner, hiding from "Graverobber".

Ah, that's right. Well, at least he'll be out of your hair soon. I can't say that I've had that problem, but I've only been here two years. And teenage girls are less...terrible than the boys, from what I can tell.

Not if he doesn't pass. I'm a nice person. I like puppies, if I had money I would give it to charity, I don't flip people off when they do stupid things in traffic. But that kid drives me insane.

Shilo Wallace has been tutoring him, apparently. She's a good kid; with any luck some of it will have sunk in.

Ouch. Well, at least I'll have someone to keep me company there. I'm planning on confiscating then keeping any alcohol I find in underage hands, and you're welcome to a share of the spoils.

It's the unending optimism I haven't managed to shake yet.

Somehow I think taking shots in front of the kids would be a bad decision. Probably hilarious, but a bad decision. And since Buffy Summers almost caught me mid clandestine smoke break today, I should probably take a hint and avoid drinking in front of them.
