Break

I'm taking an early day. Deliveries have been sent out for timepieces and jewelry due to be fixed this week- you will be billed later. I just might take the rest of the week off. If there are any repair emergencies, feel free to contact me at my personal number. Even I need a vacation sometimes, apparently.

I'll still hold my horology class tomorrow night, if any of my students would like that. Just let me know and I'll be glad to have it. Otherwise, take a break yourselves.

I may have to give you a raincheck on the dancing lessons, though. I think I'm sick. Could we delay for a few days? This has to be a curse.

You know, I've never really had a vacation, so I guess I'll have to figure that out. I'll probably end up reading, I might go by the beach...do you have any suggestions?

It was Eden's suggestion, actually- well, sort of.

And I'm not feeling well. I figure it's a curse, but in case it's something longer-running- I'm trying to be careful.

Do you need me to come over and check up on you? Even if you're only sick because of a curse, that still means it lasts at least twenty-four hours.

I appreciate the offer. If I start feeling any worse, I'll certainly let you know, but right now it's just a vague malaise and less control over my abilities. It's not a big deal, but- I haven't been sick for a long while. I'm probably just being overcautious.

Better to be overcautious than under, even in situations like ours. Can't say that I've ever been sick for any longer than a couple of days, so sorry if I freak out a little more than most people.

I'm not used to caring how someone's doing in the first place.

Don't apologize, please. It's nice to have someone asking after me- I'm not really used to that, myself.

Last time I was sick, I had been injected with a virus that was going to slowly kill me. Maybe that's part of why I'm overly worried. But I know this isn't the same thing.
