Yeah, I do miss Nathan... I hope he's alright; I still don't know what happened.

But yeah, about picking up powers. It's a little rough for me to try to use them, you know? I guess I need more practice.

Actually...maybe we could help each other. I'm adjusting, myself- if you tell me about some of your experiences, show me what happens when you try to use your powers, perhaps I can figure out something for the both of us.

Hm, well that's a bit tough, it took a lot of work to be able to control the ones I was able to. It just takes a lot of patience and focus. Sometimes things happened on instinct and I couldn't even tell you how I managed to pull them off after I had done so.

When you obtain these powers...does it ever...mess with you? Sometimes my body is overwhelmed to the point that I have to be hospitalized. Have you ever had this problem?

It's different with mine. The abilities are more hard-wired. They work just like anything else I can use, although there is always a small learning curve, of course. There are side effects- many times it would feel like I had the flu, or even just a fever- but I'd never gone to the hospital.

Your power, however, was a different story altogether. It smudges everything.

But you already have. At least I think I can understand it. A sensory overload, one so massive that it blotted everything out and you shut down in self-defense. That makes sense to me. I was nearing that state the last time I tried to use my abilities. The induced radioactivity was particularly hard to handle...

You're right, but they still won't be "alive", and therefore will become unable to escape back to their homes.

But if we work on controlling these powers we won't have to worry about exploding. After the ice cream, definatley.
