Normalcy, for all its relative values

Well, well. Things are more back to normal than they've ever been for me. I don't especially feel like celebrating, what with all the recent departures. But at least my head doesn't feel like it's going to cave in anymore.

My shop will be resuming its regular schedule tomorrow. Does anyone want me to start up my classes again, as well? Those were so much fun, but I fear they may have run their course.

So many people are dreading this month, but why? Just because it has Halloween in it? I have to say I'm looking forward to it. After all, it can't be worse than last month.

Oh, you know. The jail thing, weird murders, all these people leaving. It's been a busy month.

I suppose you could say that. Maybe they're just getting an ominous feeling from fall. Considering our last month, I'm surprised they think this will top it.

Plenty. The major event, however, was when the deities stuffed nearly everyone in the jail in the middle of the lake, tortured them for days, and then blew it to pieces. Luckily, some of us got out in time.

Well, be my guest. I was never a fan of the ones we had here. By the way, if you hear of the group Millennium? I'm fairly certain that's them. There might still be a couple left.

And there's definitely no love lost between me and the deities. Be careful taking them on, though- I've never seen anyone do it successfully. Of course, the only people I've seen try were idiots, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Was it not? I didn't get back here till November. I don't remember the one I was here for being terrible either. But I do remember people panicking about it then, too.
