Jan. 3rd, 2010 05:48 pmYou know how much easier it is to knock things over when you have telekinesis? ....okay, actually, not very. But considering the handicap, I suppose I'm playing couch potato today- huh, never thought I'd say that before. Still, it makes for plenty of time to talk to the Network, and I have kept quiet for so very long.
So I've been noticing recently, a lot of people have been losing their support structures, one by one. Terrible thing, isn't it, to lose the people that have been holding you together? Sadly, it's a fact of life, and especially a fact of this City. Things change quickly, no one really sticks around very long. And those that do will always let you down.
Do you fight against it? Because even if you're from far kinder worlds than mine, you still have to face the fact that here, people will be torn from you at the worst times. If you're from different worlds, you may never see them again. Of course, there's no guarantee you'll see the ones from your world, either. The only 'guarantee' of staying put either way is to die, and- well, let's just say I've seen people get around that little caveat.
So how do most of you handle this?
[ooc: Danger, Will Robinson- he's totally lying about being blind today. >_> ]

Date: 2010-01-04 01:35 am (UTC)But you don't want to die as much as you think you do. You want punishment, because you deserve it, and you know it. But as soon as I fall for that and start cutting, smashing, piercing- it'll be all "Sylar, you hopeless monster," and "Sylar, I knew you'd slip."
No, Faith, this is not going to be on your terms.

Date: 2010-01-04 01:38 am (UTC)There an intermission somewhere in here? I'm just asking because this is getting wicked boring. You wanted to play naughty schoolgirl, babe, should have said earlier.
Afraid you can't take me?
