So, I could probably use a little help, if anyone's inclined. Can anybody point me towards Queens?

I'm purple because I'm a mutant. It's not really that rude. I guess you must be a flatscan like everybody else is around here? That's okay, though, I don't mind flatscans.

Because you don't show the X-gene that makes people mutants when you're scanned for it. They never did it for me because I'm purple, though.

We don't have mutants and flatscans where I'm from- I'm trying to understand it. If I'm bothering you with questions, though, just tell me.

So they know who's a mutant. It's how they decide if they're going to cull you or take you to one of the Breeding Pits. Um, Apocalypse's Pits, he's in charge of the world and he wants to make the species evolve by making sure only the fittest survive. It's weird that you don't have mutants, maybe you just don't know they're there.

Our mutations are usually good for us. I can teleport, some people can fly, some people can burn things, it depends. Apocalypse just- wants to make us stronger. I don't know why.

No, I'm only a little girl, and I live- I used to live in the Pits. You don't get to be a superhero in there.

In northwest Queens in New York City. It's pretty close to Manhattan, but that's about all that can be said for it. It's too crowded, but it's still pretty nice. Everyone in the neighborhood knows each other.

Yes, I do. And I don't like it sometimes, but- yeah, it's pretty nice. They take pretty good care of me.

Oh- no. We live in a very small apartment, actually. There's a community yard.

Yep, I go to CK- um, Christ the King regional. It's pretty strict.
